Coconut Oil Acid + Monoisopropyl Amide = CMIPA

CMIPA.jpg

Runtec®CMIPA is a plant-derived nonionic amide-based thickener formulated from natural ingredients. The formulation contains no diethanolamine, exhibiting mild properties with low irritation and excellent biodegradability.

Safety: Plant-derived, no diethanolamine in the system and good biodegradability.

Irritation: The Zein value is less than N2 g/L (Test conditions: Active content of raw material is 2.5%, pH value at 7.0), indicating minimal irritation. Additionally, CMIPA can significantly reduce the irritation caused by anionic surfactants.

Viscosity-enhancing properties: CMIPA demonstrates excellent thickening performance with minimal viscosity variation under pH and temperature fluctuations. It exhibits superior thickening efficacy in acidic conditions compared to alkaline ones, with an optimal operating range of pH 6.0 to 7.0.

Compatibility: CMIPA demonstrates excellent compatibility with anionic, amphoteric, and cationic surfactants, enabling synergistic enhancement and simplifying formulation development.

Foaming properties: The foam value of the CMIPA system shows minimal pH-dependent variation and exhibits excellent foam stability. Experimental results demonstrate that CMIPA outperforms cocamide dea in foam height and stability across the pH range of 5 to 9.

Temperature resistance: The CMIPA-containing system demonstrates excellent heat resistance while providing hair and skin with moisturizing and lipid-enriching effects, thereby enhancing conditioning performance and potentially replacing or reducing the need for other conditioning agents.

Application: Low-irritation shampoos and shower gels, gentle facial cleansers, transparent silicone-free hair conditioners, skincare masks etc.
