How to evaluate the quality of a moisturizer?

Runtec®GTCC is a lightweight emollient commonly used as the base oil in creams, lotions, and makeup removers. It also serves as an excellent dispersant and suspending agent for physical sunscreens and a superior solvent for chemical sunscreens.

It has high moisturizing effect, excellent breathability and comfortable and refreshing skin feeling. Since it is used in cream products, colorless and odorless is an important indicator to evaluate the quality of a lightweight emollient. If a moisturizer has a strong odor, the R&D team needs to find a way to mask it, which can negatively affect the formulation and customer experience. If the color of the moisturizer is heavier, it will affect the color of the final product.

In conclusion, a good oil should be colorless and odorless or as close as possible to colorless and odorless.
