Sodium myristoyl sarcosinate
As we all know that the amino acid system is very mild, but does this mean that its cleaning power is not strong?
Today, I would like to introduce an amino acid surfactant with potent degreasing capabilities- Sodium Myristoyl Sarcosinate: Runsur® SMC-30, which is suitable for use in oil-removing products
Product Features: Runsur® SMC-30 has potent degreasing and is suitable for use in oil-removing products. Under certain test conditions, the Runsur® SMC-30 has slightly stronger degreasing capability than the most common SLES. It has no preservative and behaves gentle with low irritation, suitable for baby care and sentitive skin. Under the condition that pH value is weak acid to neutral, the product has excellent foaming and lather

Test conditions: Temperature: 30℃; Concentration: 0.25% active substance; Hard water: 150ppm; Washing 20min by vertical cleaning machine.
Runsur® SMC-30 has excellent degreasing power and very mild performance, especially suitable for the development of oily skin care products.
Formula Development: It has excellent thickening performance and solves the disadvantage of difficult thickening of amino acid surfactant, the difficulty of formula development is greatly reduced
Low salt residue to ensure the stability of the formula
Environmental Impact: Environmentally friendly and biodegradable
Application: Shampoo, Shower Gel, Facial Cleanser, Baby Wash and other personal care products
It is generally believed in the market that the main role of amino acid surfactants is the banner of amino acids and rich foam. We don't deny this view, but it's not entirely true. Sodium myristoyl sarcosinate can provide stronger degreasing power than SLES while ensuring rich foam, and it is easy to thicken, which solves the problem of difficult thickening of amino acid series products, and it will be your preferred ingredient for developing oil-removing products.
Are you ready to find a high cost performance ratio ingredient for you personal care product?
